I was lucky to grow up in an era where pop music was really the soundtrack of the times. It seemed like every week there were new bands that crossed the boundaries of what had happened before and promised that, regardless of what was going on around us, the music could somehow improve. This is a very idealistic memory on my part, but for a few years I really believed that music could make a difference in the world. My first influences were Byrds & Buffalo Springfield. These bands and all their subsequent variations still have a profound impact on my music today.
Over the years, I have performed in various music formats. In the 70s I played acoustically both alone and in pairs. Later I graduated to play in electric groups. It was during this time that I started writing original compositions.
From 1982 to 1989, I concentrated exclusively on writing, recording my songs and putting together a studio. I have over (60) master quality recordings from this period. Also, after releasing the songs, I became a member of the IMC and had a record deal with “Torchlight Records”.
From 1994 to 2002, I performed with my classic cover rock band “Roadside Attraction”. During that time, I played in over (160) locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland, making over 100 appointments per year. From October 2002 to June 2003, I performed as a soloist.
In June 2003 I put together another studio and started recording original music again. I have released 11 CDs since 2003.
On 7/8/19 I published “Here I Go Again”. I am very proud of these songs. These are my best works recorded to date.
“Here I Go Again”, “Flip The Switch”, “It’s My Turn”, “True Believer” and “Out Of Control” are now available for purchase and CD Baby, Amazon, ITunes and other Internet-based music sites.
My plans for the future are to continue recording new music and follow the path I have traveled on since I listened to the Byrds “Turn Turn Turn”, Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth” and Crosby’s “Carry On” Stills Nash & Young “.
